As a Social Media Assistant, you will be responsible for managing social media platforms for our agency clients. You will be tasked with developing strategies and curating engaging content to improve our agency clients’ business visibility and brand awareness on their social media platforms in line with their business/organization strategies. This position requires you to be a self-starter, agile, capable of delivering brilliant creative ideas, an excellent communicator, organized and to show amazing attention to detail


Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in public relations, communication, marketing, or any other related field.
  • 1 – 2 years’ proven experience in social media management and marketing
Knowldge, Skills & Competencies
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of content creation and social media marketing and management
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Good knowledge of branding, public and customer relations
  • Familiarity and Knowledge of multiple digital agency operational functions, including but not limited to web design and development, graphic design, photography and videography, content marketing, Social Media Management and Customer Relationship Management (CRM).

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Developing the content strategy, schedule and curating engaging content to be posted across all relevant client social media platforms
  • Manage client social media platforms by regular posting according to approved content strategy and schedule, answering inquiries and managing engagement
  • Managing assigned agency client relations
  • Play a supportive role in creation of content for website, blogs, articles and newsletters including graphic design, photography and videography where necessary
  • Organize campaigns and work with the client marketing department to run social media advertisements as may be required
  • Collaborate with all other agency staff to ensure efficiency in running of agency operations
  • Monitor progress on key metrics for day-to-day performance and prepare monthly reports that provide visibility on goals, progress, and challenges.
